Kiln House is a detached property and was built around 1870 and gets its name from its proximity to the Kilns that produced lime for agriculture and building purposes. The house is situated in the small picturesque village of Hazelbeach, near a beautiful 13th century church, both of which sits alongside the Cleddau River.
Within walking distance of the house there is a pub set on the waterside that offers a range of real ales and a varied menu for both lunch and evening meals.
From April to September the nearby river is busy with boating and fishing enthusiasts and there is a pontoon in the village for boats to tie up alongside that is a perfect crabbing spot for children.
Kiln House was completely renovated in 2012 and is now a very comfortable property that has been tastefully decorated throughout and comfortably furnished, yet still retains its traditional features.
The solid oak and slate flooring downstairs, the exposed stonework throughout, the welsh slate cills and the bespoke staircase all create a beautiful and individual house with almost every room having excellent views over the waterway.
This house is ideal for walkers and bird watchers and as a base for exploring Pembrokeshire.
Dogs are welcome. No smoking is pemitted inside the house.
